Quote of the Day - Receiving Rest

Why Is It So Hard for Me to Rest?

For many women, rest feels like failure.

We have internalized the message that worth comes from output.

So we work, we produce, we serve, we strive, until we collapse.

Then we feel guilty for collapsing.

God designed it differently.

He worked six days and rested one.

Not because He needed to.

Because He wanted to model something for us.

Rest is not weakness.

It is wisdom.

It is trust that the world can spin without your hands holding it.

Sabbath is an act of faith.

It says, "God, I trust You to handle what I let go of for one day."

Receive rest as a gift today.

Stop earning.

Stop performing.

Just be.

What might rest look like for you this week?
